Hi I have installed thsi but cannot get it running, keeps telling me the “The folder you have entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another”. I have installed the patch they tell you too, downloaded Bonjour but still nothing,. I havd an XP and Vista OS but same issue on both. Maybe a network issue? Any help would be appreciated.

My guess is that it is blocking that port. You may need to go in and manually allow access to that port. I am not sure how to do that on a PC. I used to know a lot about PC’s but have been using Macs since 2002 full time. I suggest searching for a forum online and posting your question or maybe you will find it already answered.

Completely off the wall question. On the video of this review, you briefly show a network traffic monitor that can view the traffic of each program, what is the name of that program?

Great review, I did download it and have a hard time trying to make it work on vista, you have to download the patch and check that no other device is using the same ip address (that happen to me) it will ask for user and password several times before it work. I don’t think there is a real benefit on using your 8gb on your ipod or iphone for file storage for me is a waste of valuable space.

I downloaded this when it was free and it works well enough, but at its current price, there are some good alternatives. Mobile Finder is $2 and works with OS X XP, Vista, and Linux. It is very similar to this app. For Macs only, File Magnet is $5 and is much easier to use, no need to type in strings of digits.

My comments EXACTLY the same as ‘koree on September 16th 2008′ I believed that it was a great app so I downloaded paying 5.49 euros. I have Windows XP and I get the “the folder you have entered does not appear to be valid”
I went through support at AVATRON site at the FAQ’s/ troubleshooting but there are too many alternative solutions. There is even one that suggests messing with dll. files, downloading WebDAV,e.t.c. NO I DO NOT WANT TO TRY THESE SOLUTIONS. The app is probably not finalized yet. I want an app that is easy to install or my money back.period.
