SAAGARA LAUNCHES CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN TO “UNITE WORLD IN MEDITATION”
New “See & Do Together” Platform Will Allow Users to Meditate In Unison With Others Across Globe Using Mobile Technology, Internet

ANN ARBOR, MI, USA (July 18, 2013)- Michigan-based tech company Saagara (http://saagara.com) has launched a campaign on the popular crowdfunding site Indiegogo (http://igg.me/at/SeeandDo) to aid in the development of their new app platform See & Do Together. This platform will work in tandem with their upcoming app, Universal Meditation, to allow users to engage in group meditation without actually sharing a physical space. Saagara hopes to use this platform to attain one of their ultimate goals: one million people meditating in unison.

Saagara’s goal is to raise $150,000 to fund the completion of this project. They’ve opted to pursue a crowdfunding approach because it allows current fans and new users alike to play a part in the development process.

Saagara is already in the final development stages for See & Do Together. Though extensive product previews are still forthcoming, the platform has already generated extensive interest: at press time, the platform’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SeeAndDoTogether) already has over 140,000 “likes”, making it the largest meditation group currently on Facebook. Hakitzu Elite: Robot Hackers from Kuato Studios Teaches the Next Generation to Code

Hakitzu Elite: Robot Hackers from Kuato Studios Teaches the Next Generation to Code
Major update to the robot coding game brings Hakitzu out of public beta with a complete game for the first time

July 18, 2013 London, United Kingdom: Kuato Studios’ first game, Hakitzu, finishes its public beta today with the release of the Hakitzu Elite: Robot Hackers update. The game teaches how to code in JavaScript while competing with 3D robots with players around the world. The game is available now on the iTunes App Store for $2.99/£1.99.

In a futuristic world where robots battle for supremacy, these customizable machines can battle friends through online multiplayer across different arenas or through single player challenges.

This update takes the game to its next level with the introduction of four different coding styles that take users through simple code recognition “tap and play” to inputting the code itself from memory with the custom built coding keyboard. The more advanced the coding style the more points that can be used to customize the CodeWalker in the Marketplace and the more achievements earned on the battlefield.

Kuato Studios CEO Frank Meehan said that “with Hakitzu Elite we’ve introduced a range of really innovative features that make it very easy to learn to code in single player and multiplayer robot battles. The added gameplay helps a new player learn the basics of JavaScript as they progress through the game and an existing player the ability to hone their skills.”

Code is becoming the essential communication tool for this group – there will be one million more computer science jobs than computer science students in 2020. As Mark Zuckerberg said “there just aren’t enough people who are trained and have these skills today.

Kuato Studios’ goal is to help teach STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) that will be so vital for the next generation of careers. The three month public beta was part of a planned release schedule to build both a great game and an excellent educational platform. The game has been updated multiple times based on player feedback.

Patrick Larkin, Burlington High School, Massachusetts, NASSP National Digital Principal Award Winner (2012) said “With Hakitzu, we have a program where students can lead their own learning in a key 21st century skill – the new language of coding. This is just the tip of the iceberg.”

Hakitzu is only the first of many titles from Kuato Studios focused on teaching STEM skills.
