    Am hoping this app will soon be available for Android phones–which actually outnumber I-phones in the marketplace.

    I would suspect that the reaons it came out for the iPhone first is because that was the first really big name branf, with its own market place. "iPhone" is a household name/word. "Android" is an up-&-comer. It will soon be as well known, if not better.
