This app was one of my first app store purchases. I loved AppZapper (same dev), one of the reasons I was sold. But while the looks are all there, the functionality is limited and the developer seems MIA. I’ve written no response and have seen no additional details on Pennies on the support site or iTunes. Nothing. I don’t expect weekly updates, but I’m not keen to rely on abandonware. I also don’t expect Quicken/Quickbooks/Money for your iphone at $2.99. Being able to edit the date of an item (like when you forgot to plug in a receipt for the day) or having some way of added a few categories or subcategories would be helpful. At the very least, knowing that the dev is actually supported at all would be nice.
Unfortunately, I’m shopping for a new budgeting app.

Hi, I just so happen to be the lead developer on the Accountr product. I would love to hear your thoughts in a future podcast. Of course we can’t compete with the visual flair that the Pennies product presents, but we are trying to include more functionality and customization. Also note that you can expect Accountr to continue to provide updates and improved features.

I just got Pennies, I loved it, but there are a couple of minor adjustments i think need to be made. First their support/contact us email does not work!! not good!!, secound you can’t change the amount or catagory once its entered, and last you can not change the date or add an entry to another date, so if you for got to put in an entry the next day there is no way to add to the proper date.. And to be honest thats a big problem..
I hope they would atleast have an email to write my concerns to them. Look for anotehr similar program any ideas?

Why didn't you cover the 'Export' to csv feature. I get to enter the email address to send it but then no where to activate the email
