Now, with the RINGTON.ES domain acquired by No Tie, users can easily retrieve their ringtones by visiting www.RINGTON.ES/abc (where abc is the unique ID they enter using the app). This also makes it easy to share custom ringtones with friends, by simply emailing or tweeting that address (which can be done within the app). The app creates ringtones in both the iPhone .m4r format as well as MP3 which can be used on Android, Windows Phone (Mango) and Samsung Bada phones among others. Users can use the app to create a ringtone that their friends should use when they call their friends, even if that friend doesn’t have an iPhone!

No Tie attended Apple’s WWDC event in June and was thrilled to learn that custom ringtones will now be available for text and email alerts. This was the most common request of the AutoRingtone service’s customers. Now, with iOS 5 due any day, the app and service is even more valuable!
