Sound Touch is a brand new app on the market, developed as a fun and gentle way to teach small children about the sounds they might hear in everyday life. There are three categories – animals, transportation and musical instruments and each has twelve different items within their category. To delve deeper still, each of the dozen items has three sounds and photographs.

After opening the app, there is a menu of brightly colored images that are very appealing to little ones. All a child has to do is touch a picture to hear the sound associated with it, as well as see a full screen photo of the item. The learning process involves a graphic image, audio, and actual photographs to help ingrain the information in a child’s memory.
